There are different pathways to kick-start your journey toward becoming a dental assistant in Oregon, regardless of your current skill level! Whether you prefer on-the-job training or enrolling in a recognized dental assisting program approved by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), there's a route for everyone.
To become an expanded function dental assistant in Oregon, you may choose from three different pathways:
